Detailed Safety Instructions
Warning
1.Do not use in areas exposed to water or oil. As it is not drip-proof, it may cause a short circuit due to water or oil.
2.Do not subject the lead wires to strong tensile forces or extreme bending. It may cause disconnection or damage to the connector.
Caution
1.Securely fasten the socket side and pin side with screws.
2.When wiring, be sure to understand the connector terminal numbers and cable core identification according to the identification table in the instructions to avoid incorrect wiring.
Frequently Asked Questions for Solenoid Valve Series
Both types indicate the valve position when the valve is unactuated. (normal position).
Normally closed type (N. C.)
Normal position is closed, covering a valve . When the valve is actuated, or electricity flows, the valve opens.
Normally open type (N. O.)
Normal position is open, uncovering a valve. When the valve is actuated, or electricity flows, the valve closes.
With the valve unactuated, the entrance leads to the exit.
Twin 3-way valve is the valve type used for our Solenoid valve SVR10 series and SVA20 series.
One valve unit mounting manifolds is incorporated two single solenoid valves of 2 positions with 3 ports, which equals to 2 pcs of 3-way valves. Saving space is possible by that.
Two 3-way valves built in one valve unit can be controlled separately. N.C. (Normally closed) or N. O. can be also selectable for the each valve unit.
▼Twin 3-way valve video
Control of main valve in SVA20 series is carried out by air operation with the pilot valve, thus P (supply) port of the manifold requires 0.2~0.7MPa air supply. In case of 5-valve and twin 3-way valve, the supply air pressure for this P port is output at A or B port of each mounted valve.
Compressed air and vacuum corresponding 2- and 3-ports valves uses air for P (supply) port to operate the pilot valves and vacuum or compressed air circuit to be controlled are connected to A or B port of the mounted valve. When connecting, B port should be connected to air supply side, and A port should be air exhaust side (actuator side).
Even when different types of valves are mounted at the same time, there is no need to connect external pilot air, so that no wiring and saving space are realized.
Operating pressure range is -0.1~0.7MPa,
